What CROWNING GLORY (Uncle Mo) may lack in race experience, she makes up for in pedigree power. A daughter of Eclipse-winning older mare and MGISW Close Hatches, this filly is a half to a trio of talented runners each sired by the legendary Tapit in MGSW/MGISP Tacitus, GI Breeders' Cup Distaff winner and 'TDN Rising Star' Scylla and GSW Batten Down. Close Hatches is of course herself a full-sister to SW/MGISP Lockdown, the dam of two-time champion Idiomatic (Curlin). Bill Mott, who has handled training duties for this entire Juddmonte bred and owned family, will leg up Junior Alvarado for the debut as one of only two first-time starters in the field. TJCIS PPS

'TDN Rising Star, presented by Hagyard' Local Knowledge (Yaupon) makes his 3-year-old debut for Todd Pletcher and Spendthrift Farm. Unraced since his 'Rising Star' unveiling at Keeneland in early October, the $625,000 OBS April grad earned a 94 Beyer Speed Figure in a race in which he beat GI Belmont Stakes entry and GI Florida Derby winner Commandment (Into Mischief). That loaded maiden special weight also featured future stakes winner Gallivant (Into Mischief) and GIII Lecomte Stakes runner up Mesquite (Union Rags). TJCIS PPS
